Tizzy had a badly twisted front leg due to an unattended break earlier in her life. She remains though a very happy little dog who deserves a sponsor. |
Theo is a pointer cross born waith a prominent jaw. Born
in
approx 2008, he would make a good family pet, unfortunatley Theo is
always overlooked by people and has been living at the sanctuary for
almost 4 years now. |
Bugs is a small Pekingese dog with a slight eye problem.
Bugs
can sometimes get bullied by other dogs so he prefers to be on his own.
He would suit a family with no other animals or children. But like all
animals on the sponsorship program, until that time comes, Bugs can
benefit from his 5 sponsors! |

Delilah is a very sociable Alsatian cross. She gets on
well
with people and all other dogs. Spayed and vaccinated. |
Elia is another very shy dog that goes unnoticed by visitors. She likes a quiet life at the sanctuary with her equally shy boyfriend Sooner and would love to be sponsored. |
Molly is a pointer that came into the sanctuary having
been
obviously used as a breeding dog. No longer wanted she was then
heartlessly abandoned. Molly has settled in well at the sanctuary and
is finally able to enjoy time for herself without puppies. She is a
quiet gentle dog that really deserves a sponsor. |

Born 2008 Ceaser is a mini pincher and typical of his
breed is
active and alert. Ever since he was rescued he has been staying at the
sanctuary. |
Bonnie is an extremely timid dog that often goes un noticed as she will usually hide away from strangers so is unlikely to be rehomed. She has learnt to trust the volunteers at the sanctuary though and is a sweet natured and gentle girl. |
Chilli was one of 12 dogs dumped together at the
shelter. She
is about 2 years old and vaccinated. Chilli is prehaps not the
prettiest dog with her crooked lower teeth but she has a sweet nature
and deserves a second chance. |

| Pedro walks with a limp after a badly broken leg earlier in life. He still enjoys playing with the other dogs though and would benefit from sponsors to ensure his medical needs are met. | Sinbad is a large hunting dog who found his own way to the shelter. He arrived malnourished and unhealthy. He is now a friendly and handsome dog that is always first to greet visitors at the sanctuary but his size seems to put people off . Also despite being a gentle dog the hunting instinct could still be there so Sinbad should not be left with cats. | Chianti is a black labrador cross
pup. With her
brother having been killed on a nearby road the frightened pup
retreated into a sea cave to frightened to come out. A local fisherman
eventually managed to coax her out with food and brought her to the
sanctuary. Chianti is still a nervous pup around people but enjoys to
watch the other dogs play. We are sure that with love and patience it
wont be long before this pretty pup comes out of her shell and joins in
the fun. Fully vaccinated |

| Lady came to the sanctuary pregnant and was a wonderful mother to her pups who were all lucky enough to be adopted. She is a wonderfully gentle dog that totally deserves the secure and happy future that sponsorship will give. | Steadman is a friendly and gentle dog yet after 3 years is still being overlooked by adopters. He always greets people with a wagging tail and plenty of affection but for some reason seems not to get noticed. You can show this wonderful dog that he is cared for by sponsoring him. |
Daphne came to the sanctuary with a litter of puppies
and in a
bad state. Her scars are healing and despite having been obviously over
bred she has blossomed into a beautiful dog. Fully vaccinated.

| Keo is a cross breed that despite being a lovely boy is still being overlooked by visitors after a long spell at the sanctuary. |
Leila was born with no eyes and her owners felt unable
to cope
with her. Despite her disability Leila does everything that a normal
happy dog does, she plays, walks on the lead and can even fetch her
toys. |
Liza is another dog whose size could be a problem. She is a gentle natured dog and mixes well with others. |

| Daisy is about 8 years old. She was
found on the
motorway with her puppy. She has been used time and time again for
breeding and has an old injury to her back legs which cause her to walk
a little unsteady. This older dog has had a tough life in the past and
probably because of this prefers her own company and strays well away
from the other dogs and people although she will allow you to stroke
her if you approach quietly. She is also missing a few of her lower
front teeth. Could you be the person to give Daisy a chance? |
Born 2009 Donny is a shy Alsation
cross
Doberman. Eager to please Donny would benefit from basic training and
an active home. |
Queenie is a cross breed dog with lots of energy, she would love to find some sponsors to secure her future. |

| Pauly is a big boisterous handful of a dog that may wait a long time to find the perfect home. Brought in as an abandoned puppy covered in ticks Pauly hit trouble straight away when his rough and tumble play fighting with the other puppies left him with a severely wounded ear. Although the stitches healed well and Pauly has calmed down somewhat now fully grown he is still a big bundle of fun that is longing for a family with loads of energy to give him the exercise he needs and join in his games. | Flynn is an adorable and unusual
coloured
hunting dog mix. He was born approximately March 2011. Flynn likes to
be where people are and loves a fuss. He will need some training as he
has never been walked on a lead or lived in a home. Vaccinated |
Tessa is a mixed breed dog that came to the sanctuary pregnant and was a wonderful mother to her puppies. After being spayed she found a home but disappoingly was returned to the sanctuary 2 years later when her owners decided not to take her to the UK with them. Now confused and slightly distressed by her ordeal Tessa has become reserved and does not push herself forward. This loyal and sweet little dog deserves a second chance. |

| Echo came to the sanctuary as yet another abandoned and unwanted puppy. A shy nature means that Echo often goes unnoticed and because of that is unlikely to be chosen by adopters. | Shy German shepherd Bella was found tied up in a house after her ownder had died. The piece of rope around her neck had become tight and understandably Bella is still affected by her ordeal. Bella may be with us for some time due to her social problems. |
Ralph is a 3 year old hunting dog cross that has an incredibly sweet nature. Ralph does not like to be left alone for long periods of time so we are looking for a home where he will have the company of his owners or other dogs. |
