Lenny	Goldie	Natalie
Lenny was found on the motorway with broken legs which had healed badly. Despite his twisted legs he races about the sanctuary and is a very playful lively dog. His injuries may however mean that he will be hard to re home so sponsorship of this spritely little dog will safeguard his future.	Goldie is a retrieve cross of medium size born approximately March 2009. He is quite nervous of strangers and new situations but is quick to learn trust when he knows you. Needs some traing as he has spent most of his life in the shelter. Neutered	Natalie is a quiet and gentle dog that gets on well with others but rarely joins in the fun. After some time at the sanctuary she has grown more aloof and is gaining to much weight as she spends a great deal of time sitting alone. Sponsorship will benefit Natalie until a family can be found that will give this little dog the attention she deserves and teach her to have fun again . Perhaps someone out there may even devote some time to some special walks on her own?

Flo	Lolly	Mavrou
Flo was born approx 2008 and is a medium sized pointer cross she is sweet natured and quiet. She stays out of trouble and fits in well with all the other dogs.	Pointer cross Lolly was the victim of a hit and run accident and is still clearly shaken by her ordeal. Slowly she is learning to trust people and has formed a close bond with the volunteers that care for her. New owners will need to give this little girl lots of patience and understanding so she can rebuild her confidence.	This is a rare picture of Argos dog Mavrou, as after some months she is still a scared and unapproachable dog. After being rescued from appalling conditions in a cramped and filthy cage it was decided that this dog needed some freedom and to be given the chance to come to humans when she can finally learn to trust. With the run of the outside area and the patience of staff members Mavrou is slowly learning that she will not be locked up again and that an outstretched hand means a stroke and not a beating . She wants so much to come close and enjoy the attention that the others dogs get and we hope that in time this will happen.

Sally	Flossie	Laddie
Sally arrived at the sanctuary alone except for the hundreds of ticks that were clinging to her body. She is a very shy dog that is also scared of the other dogs so spends much of her time alone. If approached slowly and quietly she will however settle and enjoys to be stroked and spoken to gently. Sally is a young dog around approx a year old so has plenty of time to be rehabilitated and will hopefully soon come out of her shell.	Flossie is a small female Daschund cross. Born approx in November 2009. She is a loving, playful and friendly dog.	The beautiful and handsome Laddie, believed to be a cross between Collie and German shepherd. He is approx 4 years old. Laddie found his own way to the shelter in about April of this year. He was pretty skinny and absolutely terrified. He was fed for about 4 weeks outside the gates because he wouldn't come near anyone. Eventually he was brave enogh to come into the shelter and mix with the other dogs in the compound. Laddie is now a very sociable dog, pretty chilled and calm. Because of his size he is over looked all the time for a home. Shame because he has a lovely nature.

Grekko	Daniel	Inca
Grekko was born 2008 and is a large pointer cross. He fits well into any situation and is a happy sociable dog.	This Dachshunds name is Daniel and he was born late 2005. He is a lovely little dog, good natured and gets on with other dogs. Misses his owner who unfortunately can no longer care for him because of serious health problems. House trained, neutered and vaccinated.	Pointer cross, Inca was born March 2010 and is an energetic playful girl that will need plenty of exercise and play time. She made the cover page of our 2012 Calender!

Kinder	Maisie	Millie
Kinder was born approx in 2006. A small terrier cross possibly a small Schnauzer. Kinder arrived at the shelter already expecting pups. She was a good mum and very gentle. Kinder has blossomed into a very nice dog who adjusts at any situation.	Maisie was born in 2009 and is a large Labrador cross pointer. A quiet and gentle young girl who lets other dogs take control.	Born November 2009 Millie is one of a litter of 8 Wolfhound terrier cross puppies. The bravest of the litter she loves to play. Millie has already spent 2 years at the sanctuary.

Marcos is a friendly cross breed dog born late 2008. He gets on well with other dogs. Marcos has already been with us for the last 3 yars. He does have a good life at the sanctuary. Until a permanent home is found for him, he welcomes any sponsors!	Mickey is a large hound cross breed that gets on well with all other dogs and people. Again this is a great family dog that loves to play and would suit an active home.	Sonny is a cross breed Labrador. He was born in January of 2010. He is a medium size dog that socializes well with other dogs.

Ozzy is a male terrier cross born May 2010. He is playful with other dogs but can sometimes be a little shy around people.	Otto is a handsome short legged male dog. Born approx 2008, he has been with us at the sanctuary for more than 3 years!	Jake is a Doberman cross that is playful and full of energy. He will benefit from basic training and a home that will keep his body and mind active.
